Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account & company data you provide: name, email, company profile, trades, certifications, service areas, and team members.
• Verification documents you upload (license, insurance, W-9, DBE certification, bonding, safety program). These are stored to support verification and shared only with TeamUP staff reviewers.
• Collaboration content you create: opportunities, rooms, messages, tasks, calendar events, and links to documents in your own storage.
• Connection records for the tools you link (e.g. Microsoft 365, Google, Procore). We store the connection and the link you provide — we do not sync or copy data out of those tools.
• Anonymous usage analytics. We set a first-party _bm_vid cookie to count pageviews and session timing. No third-party trackers, no cross-site tracking. You can decline it from the cookie banner.

How we use it

To run the platform: authenticate you, show you to other verified members in the directory, match you to relevant opportunities, deliver messages and notifications, and verify credentials. We send email for account and collaboration events (such as invitations) through our email provider.

What we share

Your company profile is discoverable to other members by design — that's the point of the directory. Verification documents are seen only by TeamUP staff reviewers, not other members. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers.

Your choices

You can view and export your data, and delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes sign-in credentials, profile contact identifiers, personal preferences, saved items, memberships, and device tokens. Shared company, project, room, message, document, financial, audit, and moderation records may remain for collaborators or legal and security needs; retained authorship is shown as “Deleted member.” Registering again creates a new identity and does not reconnect it to old authorship. You can decline analytics cookies without losing functionality.
